Formerly known as Crammer Hall Theological College, the college was originally established in 1936 to meet the needs of the Protestant Evangelical Church of England, later the Protestant Episcopal Reformed Church. In 1997 the College became independent, and is now able to offer a wider range of Courses to a wider constituency. The college is unashamedly “built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone” (Ephesians 2:20). We further believe that the great truth of historic Christianity have been enshrined in the great evangelical creeds that were formulated at the time of the sixteenth century Reformation, these include The Westminster Confession, The Savoy Declaration, The Thirty-nine Articles, along with the 1688 Baptist, to mention four. We therefore accept these as subordinate standards of faith, along with the five great pillars of the Reformation:-
Sola Scriptura Sola Gratia Sola Fide Soli Deo Gloria Sola Christo |
